RICS re-affirms support for major global professional organisations

RICS has re-affirmed its commitment to selected professional European and global ‘umbrella’ organisations, engaged in projects that help RICS and its members and benefit the profession as a whole.

The 3rd RICS International Representatives Meeting took place on 5 September 2006 at RICS headquarters in Great George Street, London. The list of organisations represented at the meeting by RICS members includes:

CEEC Comite Europeen des Economistes de la Construction

EFAC European Federation of Agricultural Consultancy

IHO International Hydrographic Organisation
ISM International Society of Mining
ISPRS International Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing
IVSC International Valuation Standards Committee
TEGoVA The European Group of Valuers’ Associations

For decades, the RICS has been supporting the growth of global and European organisations whose remit focuses on the promotion of professional and educational standards, the sharing and delivering of professional knowledge, the exchange of international experience and practice and the research into technical areas of international relevance.

The RICS has close cooperation with over 40 other national and international professional organisations around the globe which represent the profession.
