The University of Glasgow's Department of Urban Studies - one of Europe's leading centres of urban research - launched the new MSc Programme in Real Estate, Planning and Regeneration in September 2006. The programme includes the RICS-accredited MSc degrees in City Planning and Real Estate Development, Real Estate, and Real Estate and Regeneration. The latter offers the opportunity for students to graduate with an increasingly policy-relevant multidisciplinary degree.
The programme offers students significant flexibility in terms of their final choice of degree. Those registered on the RICS-accredited courses are normally expected to later qualify as MRICS through the Commercial property, Valuation or Residential faculties of RICS.
