Important News for all APC Trainees

The 2002 APC is being phased out during 2008 and will be replaced with the 2006 version.

The Phasing Out Plan

• Those trainees who enrolled prior to 01/01/2006 – the last chance to sit under 2002 APC is Session 1 2008
• Those trainees who enrolled between 01/01/2006-30/06/2006 – the last chance to sit under 2002 APC is Session 2 2008
• APC trainees who are on a sandwich placement – the last chance to sit under 2002 APC is Session 2 2008

Note: Anyone who is referred at these last chance sittings will need to convert to the 2006 APC

So, how can you swap from 2002 APC to 2006 APC?
Guidance notes have been produced covering the scenarios as outlined below:

1 – Graduate route 1 pre-interim stage

2 – Graduate route 1 post- interim stage

3 – Graduate route 2

4 – Graduate route 1 & 2 – previously referred

5 – Graduate route 3 – previously referred
