What Is The APC?
The APC (Assessment of Professional Competence) is the practical training and experience which, when combined with academic qualifications, leads to RICS membership. |

Candidates outside of the UK must contact their regional/local association for details on the Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) in the country where they are practising. |

RICS has produced a series of guides to help candidates, supervisors, counsellors and employers through the APC process. We recommend that you read all the guides available. |

APC Templates - UK Only
RICS has produced a series of APC templates that must be completed by all candidates. Once you have enrolled on to the APC you will need to download a copy of the templates so that you can start recording your training and/or experience. |

Final Assessment - UK Only
Reaching the final assessment interview stage means that you have either completed a period of structured training, or have approval to proceed direct to interview due to your academic achievements and experience gained within the profession. |
