The Disciplinary Panel found proved two charges based on the evidence before it.

It imposed a Reprimand and a fine of £500 for each charge; for failure to operate the Firms’ formal complaint handling procedure and failure to co-operate with an RICS officer investigating the complaint by not responding to letters.

The Disciplinary Panel ordered Mr Pugh to contribute £3,203.63 towards costs and ordered publication in RICS Business, RICS Website and a local newspaper circulating in the local area to his business.

Mr Pugh appealed against the decision made on the fines imposed. At an Appeal Hearing on 23 September 2008 the decision of the Disciplinary Panel was upheld.

It ordered Mr Pugh to contribute to the cost of the Appeal hearing in the sum of £1,874.15 and also ordered publication in RICS Business, RICS.org and a newspaper circulating in the local area to his business.
