RICS matrics Essex members enjoyed a feast of bangers and burgers during their inter-professional networking summer barbecue. 

Organised in partnership with Birkett Long, more than 60 matrics members and associates attended the barbecue at Riverside Inn in Chelmsford.

A generous budget, provided by the RICS matrics Essex and Birkett Long, paid for the food and drink for the young professionals - bankers, solicitors, surveyors, accountants, energy assessors, developers and general managers.  

Nicky Calasse, of Rics matrics Essex, said: “There was a good mix of pre and post qualified young surveyors in attendance for the matrics as well as associates. 

“The event generated a fantastic amount of interest and off the back of this a number of other firms have come forward to propose further jointly hosted inter-professional networking events.”

Those attending were treated to drinks, prior to the barbecue, in the beer garden at the Riverside Inn, Chelmsford.
