RICS matrics Surrey are again disappointed over their recent bowling defeat to the Surrey Local Association in their annual bowling contest.
Defeat was always on the cards for matrics for the second year running when the Local Association turned up with two ‘ringers’ including freshly polished, personalised bowling balls.
Questions were asked with regard to the Local Association’s integrity, but the game went ahead as planned.
However, it soon became apparent to the matrics team that winning was unlikely and the principal aim of the game turned to answering a simple question: ‘Are you better than an 8 year old?’
It turns out in this instance that many of us are not!
The Surrey matrics aims to increase its activity and hold more events like this. So watch this space….
