Based in Brussels, RICS Europe is a Europe-wide federation of national associations of chartered surveyors. Members come from most European Union states, as well as an increasing number of eastern European countries.

RICS Europe acts as a single voice for all chartered surveyors working in Europe and serves as a forum for like-minded professionals who are able to consult their counterparts across borders.

RICS Europe is made up of national associations assisted by an elected board of chartered surveyors.

The board initiates the strategies and policies of RICS Europe which are put forward to the representatives of the national associations of chartered surveyors.

The national associations supervise and implement decisions taken by board members and representatives of national associations at general meetings.

The RICS Europe secretariat facilitates the co-ordination and implementation of decisions.

Chartered surveyors are bound by strict rules of conduct on matters such as client confidentiality, conflict of interest and codes of conduct.

RICS Europe promotes these standards of professional practice, which are regulated by RICS.
