The RICS Scotland Careers and Education Forum is held twice a year, in March and November, at the RICS Scotland offices in Manor Place, Edinburgh.
The Forum exists in Scotland to promote dialogue between academia and practitioners to ensure that the public can continue to be well served by knowledgeable and competent chartered surveyors who have the range of skills that meet the ever changing requirements of the business community.
Under the chairmanship of Keith Petrie the focus of the RICS Scotland Education Forum has developed to include discussion on topics such as developing the routes to RICS membership, RICS university partnerships, the Raising the Ratio initiative to encourage greater numbers of women to enter the profession and recent RICS-commissioned research into the Future of Surveying Education.
The next RICS Scotland Education Forum will take place on Wednesday 7 November 2007.
If you have an interest in education matters and the future of the surveying profession, and would like to attend the RICS Scotland Education Forum, please contact Susannah Emery, RICS Scotland Careers and Education Manager e semery@rics.org or t +44 (0)131 240 0898.
