RICS set up the RICS Education Trust in 1955 as a registered charity (no. 313744). Its objectives are to promote and advance, by the provision of grants, scholarships, awards, prizes or otherwise, education and research into matters relating to the theory and practice of surveying in any of its branches.
RICS and Universitas 21 (U21) have collaborated to establish an opportunity for students at one university to undertake part of their recognised degree programme at another university or universities in one of ten countries around the world.
This research explored the effects that urban parks and open spaces have on residential property values within the UK, using Aberdeen as a case study area, measuring the effect on residential property values of proximity to the city’s urban parks and amenity green spaces.
