Breaking the Vicious Circle of Blame - Making the Business Case for Sustainable Buildings

02 June 2008

As a partner of the Sustainable Energy Campaign the RICS EU Public Affairs team in cooperation with David Lorenz, the Chairman of the RICS EU Advisory Group on Sustainable Property Investment & Management, has issued an RICS FiBRE series entitled Breaking the Vicious Circle of Blame – Making the Business Case for Sustainable Buildings.

The release marks the launch of the European Commission’s Green Week 2008 (3 – 6  June 2008).

This follows the RICS conference Investing in a Sustainable Built Environment – do energy efficient buildings make economic sense?, which took place in the framework of the second European Sustainable Energy Week at the end of January in Brussels.

The publication summarises the practical solutions and recommendations highlighted as the potential key drivers for the mainstreaming of sustainable buildings by the expert speakers from academia and practice during the RICS event.

The publication is available for download by clicking on the PDF downloads link to the right.
