RICS is an Accredited Provider Member of the Civil Mediation Council.
Mediation is increasingly recognised as being a cost effective way of resolving property and construction disputes. Court rules now require all lawyers to consider the suitability of mediation both before litigation has started and during its progress. The RICS is keen to promote mediation as a mechanism for dispute resolution in property related disputes.
To that end RICS Dispute Resolution Services have developed structured mediation training.
