RICS Recruit relaunched
The RICS Recruit website (www.ricsrecruit.com) re-launched on the 13th November 2007. Originally launched in late 2005, the website now attracts an average 17,500 unique visitors, 25,000 visits and over 217,000 page views per month, and boasts over 16,000 registered candidates.
The site also contains the most comprehensive list of up-to-date vacancies within the UK and international surveying and property industries, with more than 1,400 vacancies at any one time.
The new website offers a host of new features for candidates including dedicated graduate, student, and international sections. It will be the leading, market-driven, online portal where students can meet employers, and apply for work placements and internships. The site also features careers advice and annual salary survey statistics.
Candidates will see the benefits of no agency involvement within the graduate and work placement sections of the site – allowing students and graduates to interact directly with employers. This will place the market in direct contact with those young people interested in surveying.
“Firms have been crying out for such an opportunity with their professional body. This initiative will benefits all parties and make the first steps into surveying a lot easier and transparent”, says Stuart Mason, Commercial Development Manager at RICS.
Enhancements to the website will also help employers find high quality candidates through a range of new features, including FREE student placement advertising, 'Job of the Week' advertisement slots, premium A-Z listings, and keyword-driven banner advertisements.
